Crinone®

Description:
Crinone 8% gel contains 18 single dose vaginal applicators per box. Each prefilled applicator contains one premeasured dose of the hormone progesterone. Crinone is indicated for the treatment of infertility associated with progesterone deficiency.

How It Works:
Crinone gel is administered vaginally where it is absorbed locally and rapidly. The moisturizing progesterone gel forms a coating on the walls of the vagina that allows for absorption of progesterone. Progesterone helps prepare the lining of the uterus so that it is ready to receive and nourish a fertilized egg. Crinone provides the progesterone the body needs to support a pregnancy.

Potential Side Effects:
Side effects may occur including breast enlargement, constipation, sleepiness, nausea, cramps, breast pain, and headache.

If you experience an allergic reaction: difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue or face; or hives; seek emergency medical attention immediately.

PLEASE NOTE: If these or any other side effects occur, contact your physician.

Storage:
Crinone vaginal gel should be stored at 77ºF; excursions permitted to 59-86ºF.
