To assist patients in understanding and coping with such an extreme change in lifestyle, The Apothecary Shops have developed a customized transplant patient starter kit.

The kit is provided to the patient prior to being discharged from the hospital, and includes a number of important components to help monitor secondary effects of the medication regimen prescribed for them. Each member of The Apothecary Shops’ transplant staff is versed in all aspects of post-transplant care. Transplant pharmacists are available to the transplant team physicians and to transplant patients on a 24-hour basis.
