Full Time Floating Compounding Pharmacy Technician
**Pharmacy Technician Certification and License is required. Please refer to the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy Web`site for more information on licensure.
Position will be a floating retail technician for all locations as needed for vacations, sick days, extra help. Locations include Scottsdale, Glendale, Phoenix, Gilbert, Tempe. Out-of-state floating also may be required (Columbus, OH; Sandy, UT; Las Vegas, NV).
- Responsible for the compounding of medications into their appropriate dosage forms (i.e. capsules, suppositories, lozenges, creams, injectables, ophthalmics, etc.) under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist.
- Working in clean room preparing sterile product
The ideal candidate for these positions will possess the following skills:
- Proper licensure required
- Possess a strong mathematical background
- Ability to prioritize and work well in a fast paced environment
- Effective organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently with minimal supervision
- Compounding/Sterile Technique experience strongly preferred.

- The Apothecary Shops currently have two full-time positions available for a Certified Pharmacy Technician. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm. Applicants may be required to work some Saturday mornings. The Apothecary Shops are closed on Sundays and most major holidays.
- **Applicants must have their PTCB certification and Arizona State Board License in good standing.
- Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities:
- Assist the Pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy
- Input patient data and medication orders into the computer system
- Field incoming telephone calls
- Contact insurance companies to determine patient coverage
- Contact other medical personnel regarding patient medications
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following skills:
- A minimum of one year pharmacy experience in retail setting
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with third-party insurance companies
- Effective organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team or independently with minimal supervision

Mail-Order Call Center Representative

Location: The Apothecary Shops' corporate office at Deer Valley and Pinnacle Peak roads, Phoenix
- Responsible for handling all aspects of mail order/call center job duties, including fulfilling veterinary and sports health prescriptions
- Answering inbound fertility and practitioner phone calls
- Database entry of fertility orders
- Processing fertility orders
Customer relations
The ideal candidate for these positions will possess the following skills:
- Proper licensure required
